Hello! My name is Isie! This blog consists of drinks and things I find interesting. Any suggestions and submissions are accepted and encouraged. I would love as much input from my followers as possible.

notterriblyclever asked: I saw your lavender-blueberry vodka drink--have you tried it and does it work with 2/1 vodka and syrup, or is it too strong that way? I have a one- and two-ounce shot measurer, which is somewhat easier to use when I've been drinking. Also have you tried it with gin instead of vodka? Seems like this is something made for gin.

I’ve not had the chance to try it yet! I will soon , I think. It looks delicious. I think it may be too sweet if you do 2/1. I say just eyeball it if it’s easier. Orr make a big batch before you start your night:) also, the gin would be awesome I bet be amazing. Experiment!

Jalapeno Cilantro Margarita
1/2 oz cilantro syrup
juice of 1 small lime
1 oz white tequila
1 oz reposado tequila
fresh jalapeno strips
ice
Fill cocktail shaker fill of ice. juice lime into the shaker. Add 1/2 oz cilantro syrup. Pour tequilas into shaker. Add 4 1/2 inch jalapeno strips. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Pour into lowball glass. Add lime boat and jalapeno slices for garnish.

Captain Morgan Mojito
1 1/4 oz Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
12 mint leavse
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 oz lime juice
2 oz soda
Place mint leaves in bottom of glass. Add crushed ice, Captain Morgan, sugar, lime juice, and muddle. Add soda water and garnish with mint leaves.

1 1/4 oz Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum

1 tbsp sugar

1/2 oz lime juice

2 oz soda

Place mint leaves in bottom of glass. Add crushed ice, Captain Morgan, sugar, lime juice, and muddle. Add soda water and garnish with mint leaves.

Cucumber Cocktail
1 1/2 oz Bloody Mary Belvedere
20 mL cucumber juice
dash lemon 
dash elderflower cordial
Shake with cubed ice and strain into rocks glass.

Black Cherry Cola
1 1/2 parts cherry vodka
3 1/2 parts cola
1/2 part grenadine
Fill glass slightly above rim with cubed ice. Pour ingredients in order listed to 1/2 into from top of glass and stir. Add soda straw and garnish with a cherry.

Bourbon Slush
1 can (6 oz) frozen orange juice concentrate
1 can (12 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate
1 can (46 fl oz) pineapple juice
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 cups strong brewed black tea
2 cups bourbon whiskey
1 (2 liter) bottle Sprite
In a large bowl, mix together the orange juice concentrate, lemon concentrate, pineapple juice, sugar, tea, and whiskey. Transfer to shallow bowls or dishes and freeze overnight. Remove the frozen mixture from the freezer and let stand for about 10 minutes. Chop with a wire whisk or potato masher to make slushy consistency. Place scoops of the frozen slush into glasses, and top off with Sprite.

1 can (12 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate

1 can (46 fl oz) pineapple juice

1 1/2 cups white sugar

2 cups strong brewed black tea

2 cups bourbon whiskey

1 (2 liter) bottle Sprite

In a large bowl, mix together the orange juice concentrate, lemon concentrate, pineapple juice, sugar, tea, and whiskey. Transfer to shallow bowls or dishes and freeze overnight. Remove the frozen mixture from the freezer and let stand for about 10 minutes. Chop with a wire whisk or potato masher to make slushy consistency. Place scoops of the frozen slush into glasses, and top off with Sprite.

Apple Bourbon Cocktail with Ginger Syrup
1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
1/2 oz ginger syrup
1 oz apple juice
1/2 lemon juiced
lemon peel for garnish
cinnamon stick for garnish
Fill a shaker with ice, then pour in bourbon, ginger syrup, and apple juice. Shake until cold. Strain the mixture into a glass with ice. Garnish with a lemon peel and cinnamon stick.

3 large oranges
1 small package orange jello
3/4 cup boiling water
1/4 cup juice from the oranges
3/4 cup oranges whipped creme vodka
Slice the oranges in half. Juice the oranges and reserve the juice. Using a spoon, scoop out all the remaining flesh and pith. In a bowl, mix jello and boiling water until powder is dissolved. Add orange juice and vodka and mix thoroughly. Put the orange halves in muffin tins. Pour the liquid in the halves. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight, or about 4 hours. When jello is very firm, slice each half into 4 sections. Makes about 24 shots.
