Hello! My name is Isie! This blog consists of drinks and things I find interesting. Any suggestions and submissions are accepted and encouraged. I would love as much input from my followers as possible.

8 oz tequila
4 oz Chambord
4 oz limoncello
2 cups mixed berries
1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
berries for garnish
3 cups ice
Pour all ingredients in a blender, adding ice last. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, garnish with mixed berries, and serve.

Bacon, Bourbon, and Hazelnut Hot Chocolate

4 thick-cut slices of bacon
1/2 tsp cornstarch
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tbsp granulated sugar
pinch kosher salt
3 cups whole milk
4 oz milk chocolate chips
4 oz bittersweet chocolate chips
4 oz Frangelico
4 oz bourbon
whipped cream and chopped toasted hazelnuts for garnish
Cook bacon until crisp and let grease drip on paper towel-lined plates. Pour fat from the pan into a small bowl and stir in cornstarch with a fork. In a medium saucepan, stir cocoa with sugar and salt. Stir in reserved bacon fat/cornstarch mixture, milk, milk chocolate, and bittersweet chocolate. Heat over medium heat until, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is hot. Gently whisk to completely homogenize mixture. Add Frangelico and bourbon. Pour into individual cups. Top with whipped cream, chopped toasted hazelnuts, and a strip of bacon. Serve immediately.

Combine ingredients in a pitcher with ice and stir. Rim rocks glasses with steak seasoning and fill with ice. Pour cocktail mixture into glasses and add a dash of tabasco sauce. Garnish with a lime wedge.

1 oz simple syrup

juice of 2 limes

tabasco sauce

Montreal steak seasoning

Combine ingredients in a pitcher with ice and stir. Rim rocks glasses with steak seasoning and fill with ice. Pour cocktail mixture into glasses and add a dash of tabasco sauce. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Penicillin

2 oz blended scotch
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz ginger syrup
3/4 oz honey
splash of Laphroaig scotch
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Pour into a rocks glass containing a single large block of ice.

Hot Blooded
1 cup fresh squeezed blood orange juice
2 tbsp agave
1/2 cup whiskey
1 medium sized jalapeno, chopped, stem removed
In a shaker, add the blood orange juice, agave and whiskey. Stir until combined. Add the jalapenos, replace the shaker cap and shake three times. Immediately pour through a strainer into a highball glass filled with ice, straining out the jalapenos. Discard the jalapenos.

Put some ice in a glass. Add your alcohol, top up with club soda and give it a stir. Garnish with the orange slice and mint leaves.
