Hello! My name is Isie! This blog consists of drinks and things I find interesting. Any suggestions and submissions are accepted and encouraged. I would love as much input from my followers as possible.

The Cure All
2 oz beet juice
3 oz blended Scotch
1 1/2 oz lemon juice
2 oz Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur
Fill a shaker with ice. Add all ingredients. Shake well, about 20 seconds. Serve in chilled glasses.

Boulevardier
1 oz bourbon rye whiskey
1 oz Campari
1 oz sweet vermouth
orange twist
cherry
Pour ingredients in a mixing glass and fill with cracked ice. Stir well for 20 seconds. Strain into chilled glass. Garnish with cherry and orange peel.

Frozen French Lemonade
1 oz Alize Red Passion liqueur
1/2 oz lemon vodka
1 oz water
4 oz lemonade concentrate
Blend all ingredients with ice until slushy and serve in champagne flutes.

The Lazy Boy
2 1/2 bourbon
1 oz fig puree
1 tsp honey simple syrup
1/2 tsp ginger juice
lemon twist
Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon twist.

Vanilla Peppermint Martini
candy canes
1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka
1 oz peppermint schnapps
fresh mint
ice
Chill the martini glasses by filling with crushed ice and cold water. Remove the water and ice from glasses. Pour vodka and schnapps in a shaker over crushed ice and shake well. Strain peppermint martini into glass and garnish with mint sprig and mini candy cane.

Vanilla Peppermint Martini

1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka

1 oz peppermint schnapps

fresh mint

ice

Chill the martini glasses by filling with crushed ice and cold water. Remove the water and ice from glasses. Pour vodka and schnapps in a shaker over crushed ice and shake well. Strain peppermint martini into glass and garnish with mint sprig and mini candy cane.

Blood Orange Mezcal Margarita
3 blood oranges, juiced
3 red navel oranges, juiced
3 limes, juiced
4 oz Mezcal tequila
1 oz agave nectar
ice
salt for rims
In a shaker, add the juices, tequila, agave, and ice. Shake and divide equally between to rimmed glasses. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Mexican Fruit Sangria
2 bottles Rioja red wine
2 c brandy
1 c fresh orange juice
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
1 lime, sliced
1 apple, cored and cut into thin wedges
1 pear, cored and cut into thin wedges
1 750mL club soda, chilled
brown sugar
ice
Combine the wine, brandy, juice, and fruit in a large container or glass pitcher, cover and chill completely, 1-2 hours should be enough. Add soda to mixture when ready to serve. Use a little lime juice to rim the glasses and dip into the brown sugar. Serve with ice.

1/2 c freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tbsp sugar, plus more to taste
1/2 c vodka
mint leaves
Working in batches, puree the watermelon, lime juice, and sugar until smooth. Add more sugar if needed. Transfer puree to pitcher and add vodka. Chill until ready to serve. Stir, pour into glasses with ice, and garnish with mint.

3 c milk
3 1/2 oz good quality dark chocolate
3 tbsp honey
1 3 inch cinnamon stick
1 tsp vanilla extract
2-3 oz dark rum
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the milk, chocolate, honey, and cinnamon stick. Stir occasionally with a whisk or wooden spoon until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is steaming hot. Remove from heat. Remove the cinnamon stick. Add vanilla and rum. Serve with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired!
